I suppose it was my grandma who passed away when I was in London to see Scott in 1976.
When I was a child, I was introverted and didn’t like to stay out except for my grandma’s. She did everything for us (my sister and I) when we stayed with her. I loved her very much. The light seemed to have told me to continue to believe in his music and given me permission to open ‘the door’. I needed to take enough lessons
with lots of paitience to learn to walk forwrd. Maybe at last it’s about time to…

It was obviously a rectangular thing shaped like a door as if it was an image casted on a screen, though it wasn’t bright. It was there for a while and then disappeared when I started to walk toward it.
To my surprise, the next morning I saw someone’s posting to a web site, telling the confirmed news of the release of ‘The Drift’which I had been waiting for so much.
I couldn’t define it as ‘light’until i had done my various humble reserch.

One night of January in 2006, I was about to take my dog outside just around the corner, opened the door and walked into the yard, I saw something bright very gently and perfectly like a diamond. And then it went behind the house in front of mine, as if it told me to follow. I ran up to the road, but found nothing around. When I thought it was a mere illusion, something appeared above the road 10 or 20 feet away. I wondered what it was…

Scott’s music is a kind of letter to me. Once upon a time he sang ‘Joanna’so sweetly at his concert, but sadly my inferiority complex made me pretend not to notice. As time passed, his music eventually changed, the reason of which I know and which sometimes made me weep. I thougt all the lost years will never come back…
Once when I nealy lost my belief in my life with his music, a small mysterious thing happened to me.

thank you for posting this the film quality is better than the one I have had for years

I saw ‘light’twice, which completely changed my life. scott showed me one, when he was singing a WB number at the 1968 reunited WB concert in Tokyo.I FELT he waved back to me when I waved to him only once during the show. That was all;nothing else happened. But somehow I felt something changed in my heart, like it lightened my life.
As to the other one,it’s a small bit persoanl; so,sorry ildobildo, and maybe some of you despise this sort of tale, but it was a right and precious phenominon to me.

Another Isabel in the cinema…Pola X. I like the orchestration of ‘ISABEL’, one of its soundtracks. Although its very dark,i reckon it so gorgeous.
And of course, ‘LIGHT’ is a favorite of mine, too. It’s for the scene of the very beginning.

This film starring Isabelle Adjani was shown in Japan way back in 1993 or 1994. I read someone’s posting which said Scott’s gorgeous voice filled the theater and she was enraptured. It was the first time to have the news about him since the album ‘Lines’was released. But I didn’t notice it and its soundtrack then. I had chose to stay away from any music and even from the cinema. I needed another decade to watch the videos of this soundtrack and the performance ‘Rosary’.

“Scott place a record out in France in the spring of 1993. “Man From Reno/Indecent Sacrifice” is part of the soundtrack for a French-language film called Toxic Affair. The ‘Man From Reno’ video included shots of the casually attired singer writing the lyrics and wandering the streets of Paris wearing his trademark shades.”

It’s a excellent song – I’ve been looking for the video to it so thanks for posting it up for us. :)
